These stars will show their stuff and entertain you for four full hours at the appropriately named Saraswathi Hall in Flushing, Queens. We have groups from 20 different teachers or institutions. We have 120 artists, performing 45 separate pieces - Karnatic vocal & instrumental, Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi - of Annamacharya's compositions. 6, we will bring you the best talents among our own children and students, in a grand celebration of Saint Annamacharya's 600th Anniversary.
With five major concerts in our very first year, showcasing giants like T.M.Krishna, Sanjay Subrahmanyan, Ranjani Gayatri, Seshachary and Ravi Kiran, we believe we have succeeded in the first objective. And to actively encourage children and other music and dance students in our area, to ensure that this divine artform lives on in perpetuity.
